How to manage plans and billing

Pick a base plan and top up AI credits from the dashboard. Shoppers still check out on WooCommerce. Stripe Checkout takes the payment. The Stripe customer portal is where you cancel or update the card.

What it is

In the sidebar, open Site Settings, then Plans & Billing. The page heading is Plans & AI Fuel. Base plans are a recurring subscription. AI Fuel packs are one-time credit top-ups. Complimentary Free (Unlimited) is not a self-serve merchant plan.

How it helps you

You keep the account on a plan, buy extra AI credits when the balance is low, and cancel or update the card in the Stripe portal. WooDonkey does not delete store data when a subscription ends. Storefront features that need an active subscription stop working once it ends.

What is included

  • Page header: Title Plans & AI Fuel. Line Your balance: N credits · Current plan: Free Trial, Starter, Growth, Pro, or Free (Unlimited). Cancelled accounts also show Free Trial.
  • Base plans: Section heading Base plans. Three cards in this order: Starter, Growth, Pro. Paid plans include the full merchant feature set. Cards do not list a support level.
  • Annual / Monthly: Toggle Annual (default when the page opens) and Monthly. Annual shows a badge Save 20%. The toggle is local until you click a Choose button. It does not save by itself.
  • Starter card: $99/mo on Monthly, or $79/mo on Annual with $99 struck through, plus $948 billed annually. Up to 1 connected stores. 200 free AI credits / month. Button Current plan (disabled) or Choose Starter.
  • Growth card: $249/mo on Monthly, or $199/mo on Annual with $249 struck through, plus $2,388 billed annually. Up to 3 connected stores. 500 free AI credits / month. Button Current plan or Choose Growth.
  • Pro card: $599/mo on Monthly, or $479/mo on Annual with $599 struck through, plus $5,748 billed annually. Up to 10 connected stores. 1000 free AI credits / month. Button Current plan or Choose Pro.
  • Choose a plan: Sends the browser to Stripe Checkout in subscription mode. Stripe Checkout has an Add promotion code field. A 100% off code on an annual plan applies to that first yearly invoice, so the subscription can open at 0 for those 12 months. The same code does not cover a monthly plan, because that first invoice is only one month. After Checkout the app returns to Plans & Billing. The page does not show a success banner.
  • Manage subscription: Button Manage subscription appears only on Starter, Growth, or Pro. Trial, cancelled, and complimentary accounts do not see it. It opens the Stripe customer portal in the same tab. Return lands back on Plans & Billing. Cancel, payment method, and invoices live in that portal. WooDonkey has no cancel confirm of its own.
  • Cancellation: Stops future charges. Products, orders, Gift Cards, and other WooCommerce data stay on the store. Storefront features that need an active subscription stop working once it ends.
  • AI Fuel packs: Section heading AI Fuel packs. Helper One-time credit top-ups. Credits never expire.
  • Starter AI Pack: 500 credits, $19. Button Buy.
  • Business AI Pack: 2,000 credits, $49. Button Buy.
  • Merchant King Pack: 5,000 credits, $99. Button Buy.
  • Buy: Sends the browser to Stripe Checkout as a one-time payment. Fuel pack Checkout does not enable promotion codes. After pay, credits land on Your balance. Refresh if the number is stale.
  • Free trial: 14 days, 100 AI credits, no credit card. When the 14 days end, or trial credits hit 0, the app sends you to an upgrade screen (not a sidebar item).
  • Trial ended screen: Title Your free trial has ended or You’ve used all your trial credits. Body: Choose a plan to keep managing your store. Your account and all your data are safe – nothing has been deleted. Button Choose a plan. Footer Questions? Contact us from the Support page.
  • Payment failed screen: Title We couldn’t process your last payment. Body: Update your payment method to restore full access. Button Update payment goes to Plans & Billing. Then use Manage subscription. AI is paused. The rest of the app stays usable.
  • Payment-failed toast: Your last payment didn’t go through, so AI features are paused. Update your payment method in Plans & Billing to restore them.
  • Out of credits (paid): Non-AI screens stay open. Toast Insufficient AI Fuel. Top up your credits to execute this operation. Action Top up.
  • Out of credits (trial): Toast Trial credits exhausted. Select a plan to unlock your store control center. Action Choose a plan.
  • Credit costs: Charged only when you start the action. Failed generations are free. In-app assistant message, one SEO field, or one cross-sell reason line: 1. Promotion from a text description, product description, FAQ set, or executive summary: 2. GEO score, URL product import, or saved AI image edit: 4. Background removal when you approve it: 6. Previewing an image edit is free.
  • Refunds: As a rule WooDonkey does not offer refunds. That is why the trial needs no credit card. There is no refund button on this page.
  • Errors: The page can toast Stripe error text, or No email on file for this account. Checkout needs an email on the account.
  • Not on this page: No invoice table, receipt download, proration calculator, credit ledger, or Native page. There is no shortcode. Companion is not required.

How to turn on and manage each capability

Open Plans & Billing

  1. In the sidebar, open Site Settings.
  2. Click Plans & Billing.

Choose a base plan

  1. In Base plans, click Annual or Monthly. Annual shows Save 20%.
  2. Click Choose Starter, Choose Growth, or Choose Pro. The plan you already pay for shows Current plan and stays disabled.
  3. Finish Stripe Checkout. Use Add promotion code there if you have one. You return to Plans & Billing with no success banner.

Buy an AI Fuel pack

  1. In AI Fuel packs, click Buy on Starter AI Pack, Business AI Pack, or Merchant King Pack.
  2. Finish Stripe Checkout. Refresh Your balance if the credits are not there yet.

Cancel or update the card

  1. Click Manage subscription (paid plans only).
  2. In the Stripe customer portal, update the payment method, open invoices, or cancel. Return lands back on Plans & Billing.

Leave a trial lock or a paused-AI state

  1. On the upgrade screen, click Choose a plan or Update payment.
  2. Pick a plan, or open Manage subscription and update the card. For a paid account that ran out of credits, click Buy on an AI Fuel pack.

What to know before you start

  • The trial is 14 days and 100 AI credits, with no credit card.
  • Annual is selected when the page opens. An annual invoice grants 12 months of that plan’s AI credits at once. A monthly invoice grants one month.
  • AI Fuel credits never expire.
  • Manage subscription is only on Starter, Growth, or Pro.
  • As a rule there are no refunds. There is no refund button on this page.
  • Companion is not required. There is no shortcode.

Problems you may hit, and how to fix them

  • Symptom: Choose or Buy did nothing visible. Fix: Wait for Stripe Checkout. If it fails, the toast may say No email on file for this account. Add an email to the account.
  • Symptom: Manage subscription is missing. Fix: Expected on trial, cancelled, or complimentary accounts. It shows only on Starter, Growth, or Pro.
  • Symptom: Credits did not rise after Buy. Fix: Finish Stripe Checkout, then refresh Your balance. The webhook can take a moment.
  • Symptom: AI is paused after a failed payment. Fix: Click Manage subscription and update the payment method in the Stripe portal.
  • Symptom: The app sent you to Your free trial has ended or You’ve used all your trial credits. Fix: Click Choose a plan and pick Starter, Growth, or Pro.
  • Symptom: A 100% off promotion code did not cover a monthly first invoice. Fix: Expected. That code covers one month on Monthly, or the first year on Annual.
  • Symptom: No invoice list on this page. Fix: Open Manage subscription. Invoices live in the Stripe customer portal.
