How to read the dashboard and analytics

Read store numbers from the local copy of orders. Shoppers still check out on WooCommerce. Dashboard is a snapshot. Analytics adds filters and an Executive summary. Neither page queries WooCommerce Analytics on the store.

What it is

At the top of the sidebar, open Dashboard or Analytics. They are two pages. Dashboard is an overview snapshot for a date range. Analytics is the same local order copy, with Filters, comparison to the previous period, and Executive summary. The Analytics badge reads From your synced orders. A new order that the companion already pushed is an extra row. The next load includes it.

How it helps you

You see sales, orders, refunds, top products, and ops alerts without opening WordPress. On Analytics you can filter by category, tag, attribute, status, product, or customer, then generate an on-demand Executive summary. The numbers are the local order copy, not a live WooCommerce Analytics query.

  • Default status universe: Counts completed, processing, on-hold, refunded, and custom plugin statuses. Excludes pending, failed, cancelled, auto-draft, trash, and checkout-draft. Analytics Status filter can narrow this.
